To My Future Husband,
Wherever You Are,
I Know Who You Are.
I’ll be able to trust you with all of my feelings.
The unfiltered ones,
The frustrated ones.
Despite them, I know you will still believe in my willful positivity.
I’ll be able to say what’s on my mind without judgment.
You’ll hear my confessions and you not deem them as definitions.
You’ll see my sobbing and not feel like I’m a broken bird.
I know my human layers will build your love for me.

To My Future Husband,
Wherever You Are,
I Know Who You Are

Because God has shown me who I am.

You are the only one who can handle my resilience,
My recovery process,
My road to ascension.
Our partnership, our union with God will lead us always.
The way you look at me will never change.
Your sparkling eyes,
Your feint smile.
I know we’ll fall in love everyday.

To My Future Husband,

I need everything from you.
And for you to receive everything from me.
